About Murray River Paddlesteamers

Established in 1996, Murray River Paddlesteamers commenced with The Pride of The Murray. Since then this progressive company has expanded to include the P.S. Emmylou and the P.S. Canberra.

This award winning company has greatly contributed to Echuca’s thriving tourism industry. Our fleet of vessels is proudly presented as the best in Echuca with unequalled commitment to the preservation and presentation of the vessels.

The greatest challenge to date has been to restore the P.S. Canberra including the conversion back to steam. The project took nearly twelve months and was successfully completed in 2003. Today, this vessel is a credit to the commitment of the team involved.

M.R.P.S. is dedicated to providing a memorable experience, be it on a short cruise, a function, wedding, birthday party, dinner cruise or an overnight trip. The business strives to be innovative whilst empathising with the historical environment in which it operates.
